Happy Summer! Psychics, Sinbad and the Circus

Summer Circus Spectacular

Aah, summer!  Your offerings have included Grand Prix Boat Races and grand fireworks over the Gulf, celebrating America’s birthday.  You’ve provided opportunities for fun days spent on the beach with loved ones followed up by messy ice cream traces left on sun-kissed noses.  But just as quickly as you arrived, back-to-school flyers and commercials are reminding us your time is waning.

We want to make the most of the days we have left with children, who at first were fidgety with the extra time on their hands, only to find that slipping into a ritual of sleeping in and staying up late were pretty easy to take. Vacations have gone off without a hitch and special memories have been made as we head to the end of July.  Barbeques with friends and neighbors have reminded us that summer is a time for reconnecting.

Thankfully, this weekend there is an eclectic mix of activities to provide a fun and informational time for family and friends.  Don your sunscreen and pack your water, or head inside to enjoy the air conditioning.  Either way, there are plenty of activities scheduled to fit your needs that won’t break your bank.  Happy Summering everyone!  Here are some of the highlights to consider for your to-do list this weekend.

Calling all psychics and lovers of all things crystal and metaphysical, this is the largest psychic fair in Southwest Florida.  For the sixth year running, attendees will have the opportunity to interact with well-known psychics.  There will be door prizes, along with free lectures on holistic health, natural healing, spirituality and more. A vast assortment of crystals, jewelry, healing tools, and clothing will be available for purchase.  Don’t miss this unique and fun way to spend your afternoon with like-minded individuals.  Please bring a non-perishable food item that will be disbursed to local food banks.

We hope you’ll enjoy trying one or more of these activities this weekend while you beat the heat!  However you decide to spend your time this weekend, we hope you’re squeezing in as much fun as possible this summer and that you’re in the good company of friends and family.  Fall is right around the corner so make the most of the dog days of summer while we still have them.
